The Rinse-n-Ride T1 footpool is used by triathletes from the swim stage to the bike stage of the race. When exiting the water and running to the bike staging area,  triathletes, more often than not, find themselves navigating back to their transition spot through sand, dirt, and other bits of debris. All this matter collects on those cold wet feet,  which then has to be brushed off, but never completely removed before putting on the bike shoes.
